Neighborhood

West Strand Drive sits on the seafront of one of Portrush's newest developments. A quiet, well-kept community of pastel townhouses arranged around the dunes. Your front door looks out onto the West Strand promenade. Cross the road, drop down onto two miles of golden Blue Flag sand. That's your morning. The town itself is a 10-minute walk away — Portrush is the North Coast's resort town, the place locals from Belfast and Derry have been escaping to for over a hundred years. You've got Curry's Amusements (the old-school seaside arcade, weekends in summer), Babushka café on the harbour, Lost & Found for cocktails, Ramore Wine Bar for dinner, and more ice cream shops than is strictly reasonable. Walk the other way (15 minutes) and you're at East Strand and the start of the cliff path to the Royal Portrush Golf Club. Drive 8 minutes west and you're at Portstewart Strand — three miles of beach you can drive your car onto. Drive 20 minutes east and you're at the Giant's Causeway. Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Whiterocks, Ballintoy Harbour (yes, the Game of Thrones one) — all within half an hour. This is the most photographed coastline in the UK for a reason.

Guest Access

Guests have full private access to the entire home during their stay. This includes the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, all three bedrooms, three bathrooms, the utility room and private allocated parking. Self check-in via keysafe — the code is sent the day before arrival. Fast Wi-Fi throughout. The Nestled team is a message away if anything is needed.

Find us

You don't need a car to enjoy Portrush itself. Beach, town, restaurants, harbour, cliff walks — all walkable from the front door. You will want one for the wider Causeway Coast. The good news: there's allocated, off-street parking right outside the house. If you're flying in: - Belfast International (BFS) — 55 minutes by car - Belfast City (BHD) — 1 hour 10 - Dublin (DUB) — 2 hours 45 (worth it if the fares are cheaper) By train: Portrush has its own station, 10 minutes' walk from the house. Direct services to Coleraine (15 minutes), Belfast (1h 50), and connections to Derry. The Causeway Rambler bus runs along the coast in summer — Bushmills, Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede and stops at the harbour. Driving distances from the door: - Royal Portrush Golf Club: 5 minutes - Castlerock Golf Club: 15 minutes - Portstewart Golf Club: 10 minutes - Giant's Causeway: 20 minutes - Bushmills Distillery: 15 minutes - Dunluce Castle: 10 minutes - Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge: 25 minutes - Derry / Londonderry: 50 minutes - Belfast City Centre: 1 hour 10 Tip: the coast road between Portrush and Ballycastle is one of the great drives in the British Isles. Don't rush it.
