The house is spread across three floors and genuinely has room for everyone — whether you're a family with kids, a group of friends, or a mix of both. Downstairs, the living room is built for togetherness. Multiple sofas seat the whole group comfortably around a smart TV. Walk through and you're in the kitchen-diner — a proper cook's kitchen with everything you'll actually need: full oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, and enough cookware and crockery to cook for six without hunting around. The dining table seats the whole group at once. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are on the top floor — two king doubles with private en-suites, and a twin room with two singles sharing a top-floor shower room. Beds are made up with fresh white linen, and there's plenty of storage in each room so you're not living out of suitcases. Out back, the private courtyard garden has sun loungers, a BBQ, and garden chairs. On a good North Coast evening, it's hard to beat.

The property is across three floors with stairs — please flag any mobility requirements before booking and we'll advise. Parking is on-street — Prospect Mews and surrounding roads. Spaces are typically easy to find. The top-floor bedrooms have sloped ceilings with real character — in the master bedroom, ceiling height at the bed is approximately 6ft. Taller guests may wish to note this. The garden faces a residential lane — perfect for a relaxed BBQ, not a late-night gathering. We ask all guests to be respectful of neighbours. Checkout is at 10:00am. Unarranged late checkouts will incur a fee of £30 per half hour, as we need access promptly to prepare the house for our next guests. If you require a later checkout, please request this in advance so we can confirm availability. Please note: Electric vehicle (EV) charging is not permitted at the property. Our electrical system is not equipped to support EV charging — we recommend using nearby public charging points.

Strand House sits in Portstewart — one of the Causeway Coast's most relaxed and characterful seaside towns. The seafront promenade is a short walk, lined with independent cafes, ice cream shops, and restaurants. Portstewart Strand — a National Trust beach widely regarded as one of Ireland's finest — is a 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive. The town's own small beach is closer still. Portrush is 10 minutes by car, bringing Royal Portrush Golf Club, East and West Strand beaches, and the Ramore Restaurant Complex within easy reach. Giant's Causeway is 20 minutes, Bushmills Distillery 20 minutes, Dunluce Castle 15 minutes. Coleraine town centre is 10 minutes with train connections to Belfast (under 2 hours).
